That would be nice to know, wouldn't it? A reader pointed out that it would be helpful to have a clue how much applesauce to use. She's completely right of course. I believe it was a half cup. My sister used Duncan Hines, and they actually suggest the substitution on the box. It should work for any recipe though. :) Pam
